For this look I collaborated with the Artist John James Perangie. John James has been experimenting with marking gingham with paint since their residency at VARC. The suit was sourced secondhand and handpainted by John James.

In the Peter Pan Pantomime, Rob Madge plays a gender queer Tink. In discussion with Rob, they decided they’d like to wear the colours of the trans flag which is the same colour scheme for Tink’s costume. I managed to source a green gingham, which I thought was nice nod to the green of Tinkerbell’s costume is int Disney adaptation.
